Perhaps I was a person full of shapes
[I knew, lemon trees:handfuls and handfuls of lemons.! over-spilling lemons! one,-
full of lemons I knew I held handfuls] i like it
when it’s just us[awake]no one else, enthralled I think,
[not that they can add or subtract:
merely a distraction detracting from
the secret world, we imagine and know exists]:i like the completion.
I once thought
you were permanent now struck [with hurt]
by the contradiction of impermanent permanence
(when I said I hated ordinary): And the hole where you sat
[the end or the start-who can decide] it couldn’t
explain why in ventures outside through nights that are black
sometimes, [the beginning] you
leave the lights on inside. not unknown [the reason]
- you just know:
indemnified is the word, quietly enthralled, explains it one way or
thoroughly Enchanted.
Was: what do I mean I mean am: that I am sure of. Anyway:
thinking of you on a hill makes me smile
(why have ordinary when there is extraordinary)I could
not look at it right away, only away to the side
I knew I wasn’t ready to see:but pushed
on regardless, I like the way we entered this moment
i like the way we entered this moment
and I like the way that if we could have stopped time we might
have stopped it there. right then and now here
a fresh cucumber.
suddenly the world is shockingly huge
